ASCOLI PICENO

The historical town of Ascoli Piceno, just ten minutes by car, called the city of hundred towers is full of many structures of historical, artistic and cultural. Definitely worth a visit is the unique and famous Piazza del Popolo, where are the Palace of the Captains and the church of San Francesco. Equally interesting and beautiful attraction is undoubtedly the monumental Arringo Square, with two typical, here they are:

• The Duomo (Cathedral of St. Emidio, the city patron)
• The Arengo palace, seat of the Pinacoteca, one of the most important in the region, with works by Cola dell’Amatrice, Carlo Crivelli and Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo
• Episcopal palace which houses the Diocesan Museum.

SEA

The San Benedetto del Tronto Riviera is reached in thirty minutes by car, is one of the most beautiful in the Adriatic sea (blue flag with a star). The clear sea is ideal for long swims in calm, fine and white sand warmed by the sun is perfect for total relaxation. San Benedetto del Tronto has a wonderful promenade with palm trees where you can quiet walks during the day or evening. In the downtown area there are shops, bars and clubs to spend pleasant evenings.

MOUNTAINS

The proximity to the two National Parks of the Monti Sibillini and Gran Sasso-Laga, offers opportunities for walking and hiking in areas of significant natural and environmental interest. You can follow paths and cattle tracks used by shepherds for transhumance and admire the historical evidence of past retreats and small sanctuaries founded in the Middle Ages.

SPA

A 15-minute drive away is the ancient town of Acquasanta home a wonderful complex equipped for spa treatments, physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the sulphurous water. The center also has an arrangement with the National Health Service.
